 The
Embassy Suites Hotel hosts only one wedding at a time, which Thelma
believes is a central component behind the success of the weddings
we plan and produce. She and her team will take care of everything
from the first kiss to the final dance. Thelma credits her personal
success to the undivided attention she gives to her clients, and to
her diligence in fulfilling their desires and requests. She believes “each client is unique, has specific ideas, expectations, budgets, needs and wants.” Thelma will listen to your expectations, and will work together with her catering and culinary team to create your vision.
Thelma began her career in the hospitality industry at the
advice of her sister, who noticed Thelma’s
creative talents. Thelma has worked in our industry for over 20
years, beginning as an Administrative Assistant to the General Manager
with aspirations of working in catering. She has worked for the Embassy
Suites Chicago for over six years in catering and is the hotel's
official Wedding Planner. As a member of the Association of Bridal
Consultants and a Certified Wedding Planner, Thelma is a recognized
professional.
